Hi

I have just got an unlocked San Francisco and have got everything working with my Virgin media contract sim but I cannot get my email to work. I have a blueyonder email address. Is it possible to get it working on Android. Does anybody have the correct incoming and outgoing settings. Also I would like to set up my hotmail account is this possible

Mine is a TFT screen version is there a mod to stop the dropping wi fi when coming out of sleep mode.

Thanks

Easy to set-up. I also use blueyonder

User name must have @blueyonder.co.uk at the end

Type this into imap

imap.virginmedia.co.uk

SSL protocol

Type this into smtp

smtp.virginmedia.co.uk

SSL protocol

Ensure user name on smtp also has @blueyonder.co.uk

If you still can't get it to work twitter or mail me at [email protected] and I provide screenshots on my set-up that works ok

Or instead of all that nonsense, just use the web enabled email, and sign into their(virginmedia.com) homepage, on your browser, click email at the top of the page), and get it that way.

Then setup a shortcut/bookmark to that page.

Their mail uses Google mail, as it's all online, no need for mail programmes, etc.

You have a web enabled phone, why not use it?(just a suggestion)

Hi

He means open the "Android market" app on your phone search and install an app called "Blade Wifi Fix"

It will stop the wifi from getting stuck but won't keep it active while the phone is sleeping (Still no fix for that)
