Bricked and Recovered During Upgrade

Hi All,

I received my Vega just before Christmas and had just enough to install the pre baked ROM to open it up before it was taken away by the boss for its application of wrapping paper.

As promised (to myself) I paid for the ability to use the performance pack on pay day (today :() and to contribute to Paul's time for all the dev work here (top notch, well done mate).

This is where my problem started, I baked, downloaded and installed the ROM

(I *think* there was an error thrown with the

"remount succeeded

1259 KB/s (4540252 bytes in 3.519s)

pkg: /data/local/tmp/libflashplayer_froyo_gles2_20101019_v10.1.95.18_signed.apk"

line but I cant swear.)

The device rebooted dutifully but just after getting to the second "Booting..." screen switched off ;) to cut a long story short it was BRICKED ;)

Anyways... I resigned myself to reflashing with the base ROM and going from there. After installing the recovery mode USB drivers and downloading the ROM from myvega (TWICE... damm CRC errors) I reflashed the device and booted with no problems, I then applied the full r5 ROM (performance pack and all) with no problems.

So apart from my apps and config I've lost nothing but I'd certainly be interested to hear from anyone else that had similar experience or can think of a likely reason.

Anyway alls well that ends well..
