baseband for v 319

Can some one link me to.the correct baseband for 319 version.

I ambgetting flashing key lights. :(

My streak is the att version

My understanding is that 319 is 2.2 for O2/Dell UK Locked units. The correct baseband file would be for an O2 unit, which would be incorrect for yours on AT&T.

Thanks fards, dint know that the update.pkg had the amss file.

Extracted and flashed and works.

ABSOLUTELY !!!

First flash the stock recovery and then flash the update.pkg file

I was looking for the baseband file as i was having flashing lights in the keys ( though fn wise there were no issues )

this zip is a dump of the 319 rom (as if u could select all on on the "C drive" of ur phone & paste the contents onto your pc)

i don't think you can flash it & if you do, it'll wipe everything you've done already

amss is the baseband (BB) - part of the system that handles cellular modem data (i think, some1 feel free to correct me) ie phone calls & 3g

someone ppl need to change their BB cos they use rebel sim or cos they want the BB that's optimised for their carrier

my $0.02? if ur BB aint broke, don't change it ;)

if you do wanna change ur BB, then its done via a similr method to the one u used to flash the clockwork recovery file, only you type in cmd

fastboot -i 0x413c flash amss amss.mbn

u shouldn't need to change cos you're running the 318.pkg, not a custom rom

I know how to flash from Update.zip but what is the method for pkg? I have tried this by selecting option 2 then to update pkg but it doesnt do anything.

rename the file that fards posted from update.pkg.zip to update.pkg

then

copy to root of ur sd card.

flash the stock recovery

then u can install .pkg file from the stock recovery.

tried going from 1.5.1 to 319 yest night....

flashing the 309 recovery over clockwork wudnt let me install the update.pkg...showed some error...

finally had to flash the 2.1 o2 recovery and then install the update.pkg

luckily worked..:(

Open the update.pkg file in unzipping application in PC or mac and take the amss file and flash that in fastboot

fastboot -i 0x413c flash amss amss.mbn

are the basebands from 318 & 319 the same?

i've tried them both & after flashing they both state the same revision number under 'about phone'

if u r talking abt the baseband version then no..

when I had 318 running mine was 31800-EU

and on o2's 319 its 31921-EU

I notice it says 319 but the build is lower then the 318 pkg. Any idea if this is newer or not?

305 = 11548

315 = 12332

318 = 12821 - Meant for 00 devices in europe

319 = 12792 - Meant for O2

I flashed the bb from ur upload n got the 318 version
