Changing the google account to a new one.

ok short story: my nephew has got a new SF. He loves my layout on my phone plus its running Villains 1.0.1 Rom. So to save time i backed up my phone using clockwork, took the mem card out and restored the image to my nephews phone.

Everything seems to work fine but its got my google account on it. I tried deleting my account but cant. I've also tried adding his google account but it times out and gives a error message.

I've googled the error and it seems to be a quite common problem when trying to add a new addional google account. One solution is to factory reset the phone but doesnt this wipe all the apps etc.

Anyone know how to fix this? Cheers

system apps and pre-loaded apps aren't wiped only downloaded apps (not sure what this mean)

hey,you can try to clear the data of all the google related application from the setting!

Change your google account password (on a desktop) and click google mail on the phone. That will prompt you to re-enter your google login. You can then obviously change your password back if desired.
