Guest BigHobson Posted December 28, 2010 Report Posted December 28, 2010 All, I find the time period between pressing the standby button and the end of the fade too long, does anyone know how I can adjust this? My Desire is instant and Google has returned no hints, any help would be greatly appreciated.

I suggest you go to the Market and search there for "timeout" as there seem to be a few apps which might do the trick but not sure as I don't use anything myself :(

I had a look at those apps but they all seem to adjust the delay before the lock screen becomes active or the delay before the screen turns off. My query was with regard to the fade effect that happens when you press the hardware standby button. Since installing the performance pack the fade is much smoother and (I think) no longer present when waking up, hence much more tolerable.
