Guest Kips123 Posted December 28, 2010 Report Posted December 28, 2010 Hi Guys. I've got an SF that I've rooted and got running one of the roms from the site here. Only had it about a week but so far so good, really loving it - it's my first proper smartphone. But one thing that is driving me up the fracking wall is that goddam rooster "default alarm tone". How do I set a different tone to "default"? I know i've seen it as an option somewhere... but where? I don't want a custom alarm tone, one of the others will be fine, but how do I choose a different default one? It's driving me NUTS! Please help.. if you can!
Guest Rem1x Posted December 28, 2010 Report Posted December 28, 2010 Haha, go to the alarm's settings, you can choose there.
Guest Azurren Posted December 29, 2010 Report Posted December 29, 2010 Thought you were asking for angry birds tips for a second there :(
Guest Storm3y Posted December 29, 2010 Report Posted December 29, 2010 Haha, go to the alarm's settings, you can choose there. It doesnt seem to let you change the default tone for all the alarms. You got to do it for each one.
Guest PeaNut_HU Posted December 29, 2010 Report Posted December 29, 2010 (edited) If you have already rooted, you can kill the rooster by - ADB (if you have debugging enabled on phone and ADB installed on PC): adb remount adb shell rm /system/media/audio/alarms/Alarm_Rooster_02.ogg reboot [/codebox] or getting a custom rom: - deleting the correspondig file from the update.zip: system\media\audio\alarms\Alarm_Rooster_02.ogg file - reflash modified update.zip This way the system won't contain your dreaded notification tone :( Edited December 29, 2010 by PeaNut_HU
Guest lixcab Posted December 29, 2010 Report Posted December 29, 2010 Or delete the current alarm and create a new one to change the alert tone.
