I don't understand what wen't wrong, the phone was fully functioning, I had flashed the japanese jellyfish several hours ago, working perfectly fine, and I was going to do a phone backup of the current state so I would try to flash the AHB OC. So I turned the phone off, pulled the battery out after some 10-15 seconds (time to open the back cover gently), and then replaced it. When I tried to turn it on fastboot mode, it wouldn't boot, no matter how much time I stood there pressing the buttons, so I tried to boot it normally and still no luck! I even tried to connect the usb cable to the pc and after to the charger, tried to boot on either case and still no luck! I just got the phone today, I'm super freaked out, don't even know how to tell my dad the phone is dead now... Since the phone can't boot, is there any way for my service provider to find out that I rooted and/or installed a custom rom? And is there by any chance any way for me to reset this back to factory, like a hard reset button or something? Please forgive me if this last question was stupid but I'm just SO desperate right now!! Attentively, Bernardo

Does it vibrate when you hold the power button down? Does a green (or blue) android appear on the screen? Does it "boot loop" Don't worry and don't freak out. If the worst comes to the worst take it back, unless your really unlucky they won't check for rooting :(

But still is it possible to find if a phone that doesn't boot is rooted/modded or not? Thank you for helping me =D

But the chances of this happening are slim to none as (like with everything) the people are payed by the hour to get the thing fixed, not look for possible tinkering :( Worst case scenario they send the phone back with a snotty letter Besides the rooting / modding has nothing to do with this. Seeing as the phone seems as dead as a dodo playing around with ADB seems fairly pointless. So just try the following and if no luck take it back in the morning ;) Check that the battery cover is aligned correctly: (Seat the power switch perfectly then just clip the bottom together) Remove the battery and try powering from USB Leave the device powered down without the battery overnight and try again in the morning Good luck ;) Edited December 29, 2010 by Azurren

What do you think I should do? EDIT: now i tried plugging the battery back, tried to boot and he did! I mean wth?? Do you think I should reset back to factory and ask for another SF? What do you think I should do? Try getting back into clockwork (You should be able to) and restoring your nandroid backup (If you didn't make one try wiping and rebooting. Still no luck? Try flashing any rom you can get your hands on) Hope you get this sorted :( Im out of battery and need sleep
