Guest Hothan Dao Posted December 29, 2010 Report Posted December 29, 2010 (edited) I have tweaked my dell streak, and installed a lot of apps with data and I am quite satisfy with this one. As many members here, I like flashing variety of ROMs as well as updates. However, updates or ROMs corrupt my DS, sometimes. I would like to know if is there any complete solution to backup whole my system: baseband, recovery, and OS, apps and data. I have tried nandroid in ClockMod recovery, but it was stuck at "backing up data" Thanks, Solution: Use StreakMod Recovery instead of Clockword Mod Edited January 4, 2011 by Hothan Dao

Does it help backing up baseband & recovery? I experienced that after restore apps & data with Titanium Backup, a lot of FC occurred. Still waiting for better solution. Have anyone tried Nandroid on StreakRecovery?

Guest adzman808 Posted December 29, 2010 Report Posted December 29, 2010 +1 on this question.. Is there not a product like sprite (winmo) for droid? Sprite gives options like complete restore, user data + custom setting restore or even transplant user data to a diff phone I love trying new roms but the reset of all my stuff is a pita Whenever this q comes up, ppl propose ti then some1 always says that ti ain't great with data restore... But that's the important bit, I don't mind manually restoring apps, but the settings n data are time consuming
Guest ClippinWings Posted December 29, 2010 Report Posted December 29, 2010 Have anyone tried Nandroid on StreakRecovery? Works flawlessly

See here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=840326 +1 on this why no one mentioned earlier?, just run nandroid backup and it will backup system, data, recovery and boot, pretty much the current state of your streak as of when you do the backup.

I think just because nandroid on ClockMod Recovery does not work properly! However, it does in StreakMod Recovery
