[HELP] VISIONary+ r14 TempRoot problem on DHD

Hi Paul,

it seems I can't TempRoot my DHD (unbranded, 2.2.1 build 1.72.405.3). It says "rooting device" but then the screen goes blank, and after a while even the title bar "VISIONary+" disappears and nothing happens (left it there 30 mins). If I press the home button, I'm able to get out but the phone is very slow and unresponsive (even if I force close the app). If I launch again V+, nothing happens. USB debugging is on.

Following several guides I tried with r11, r12 and r14. Same result.

What can I do?

Found the answer on xda forum: with the latest OTA, VISONary+ won't work anymore.

No one has.

You need a new exploit, and I don't know if anyone is looking for one.

I posted a "Don't apply the 1.72 OTA" thread in the Desire Z forums, I guess I'll post one for the DHD users.

Just downgrade to 1.32 and perform root.
