message tones not working - now fixed

Hi Folks - I am having a problem with the message tone on a new bog standard Orange SF

I created a new folder on SD card called notifications and put the MP3 file in it.

This worked fine until I added another MP3 file into the same folder.

I selected the new file using the std settings program it played whilst setting but

when I receive a text there in no sound.

I have since tried using a standard tone but again the tone sounds whilst setting up

but is silent when receiving a text.

The ring tone is still OK and loud.

I have tried taking out the battery, deleting the new tones and the new notifications folder.

Phone is currently set up with stnd nofiication tone but is silent when receiving a text.

Any ideas much appreciated

Just done a full factory reset which seems to have fixed the problem - cheers
