Well I tweeted the MIUI guys, @MIUIDev on twitter, asking if they were going to release the sources, sadly they said that they're not sure.

Anyone here from china? Or speaks chinese? How popular is blade there?

I'm asking because i think the miui guys decided to support the phones that they support now because many they had many chinese guys asking them to do so. The point is that if we could get many guys from china who have blades to ask them to support us, than we would have a shot. It's better than just wait for them to release the source.

Then please ask them to release a Blade-build, I would be able to test it for them, and I guess, many of us too!

give up?

I see that you are from china, so it would be great if you could go to miui.cn and request a version for the blade. Ask everyone you know to do that too. Oh and please post a link to that thread here. That's the only thing that can be done for now.

Imo after Cyanogen Mod 7 is fully ported and supported by the Cyanogen team then.. Maybe, if we ask the devs that ported cyanogen over to our beloved blade reeeeeeealy nicely they could try their hand at MIUI

(It is based on Cyanogen afterall, I'm sure they could port it far easier than any other starting dev) :)

But until then, best let it rest quietly

Is someone still working on the froyo version then? cos it's not using arm7 based instructions?

It DOES use ARMv7. All MIUI ROMs use ARMv7, as ALL MIUI ROMs are built for ARMv7 phones.
