Driver software

Okay basically iv found a guide to take me through the 2.1 update.

I think i have a basic problem :/ I think i uninstalled the samsung driver software from my pc :( So every time i connect my phone i get the message .... new hardware found , but it cant find a way to fix it ;) So what do i need to do ? Please help :|
