Yeh its the same for me. Obviously the light version is capped. Guess you have to pay for full access! Tony

How about newsgroup software? Newsleecher etc? Would love to see that.

Can you not port something like NZBGet with a web front end on it? Not sure what you need to program with the Vega, but there are Java based clients and front ends

I've been using tTorrent Lite free version for several days now with d/l speeds of around 250kbs on torrents with a decent number of peers. This suggests that your "cap" may be a result of restricted bandwidth in your broadband package. I'm fortunate to have the luxury of a Virgin 50Mbs connection.

Why don't you just install a client on your PC that has a web interface that way you can control it from home. So utorrent is a good choice in that regard or Sabnzbd+ if you are after nzb program as it has a secure web interface as well and is as good as nzb downloading software gets.

I thought ttorrent lite was capped at 100kbs to encourage users to buy the full version?

Using synodroid (connected to my Synologu NAS) which has a torrent search tool which works fine however like the earlier poster would like to see a NZB downloader which would be awesome.

not got my Vega on me but I tried Newsdroid NZB downloader and it worked ok for newsgroups - but still quite slow.

But I tried it in conjunction with Newzbin2 app, which is rubbish.

How does one associate files with a program. I can download an NZB file from a site, but can't get it to associate with Newsdroid.

For any unbelievers out there, here is a screenshot of tTorrent Lite (the free version complete with ad) downloading 2 torrents simultaneously at a total d/l speed of 213kbs. In the Settings menu it shows d/l capped at 250kbs and u/l capped at 100kbs.

sorted it. You put the nzb file in one of the subfolders of newsdroid and it will start downloading
