Guest StevenHarperUK Posted December 29, 2010 Report Posted December 29, 2010 Hi all, Sebastian404 used to host all the Stock ROMS, we need them linked back from this forum. The problem is that New users are still installing Superboot (which is OLE only) If you look at the end of this thread you will see users complaining that they are stuck. http://android.modaco.com/content/zte-blad...e-to-read-more/ Without a stock ROM they don't get the boot IMG that fixes the blue screen problem Flashing the new Hungarain single image.zip may work, but its all rather too much for the new users. Does anyone have the ORANGE ROM OUK_P729BV1.0.0B08 anywhere? Can we get it hosted somewhere? Is it linked already : and I just cant find it? thanks p.s. I also question whether the Superboot thread should still be stickied - its causing more harm than good.

Guest zapher Posted December 29, 2010 Report Posted December 29, 2010 Is this : http://android.modaco.com/content/zte-blad...online-kitchen/ What your looking for? I recognize your host has been down for some time now. I believe there are plenty of users willing to host the files in the meantime and backups never hurt, right? Do you have access to the files still?
Guest Sebastian404 Posted December 29, 2010 Report Posted December 29, 2010 p.s. I also question whether the Superboot thread should still be stickied - its causing more harm than good. While your right, I'm sick of hearing about the blue tinge questions, I don't think that just having it posted here is the problem, there are lots of other sites who have mirrored the files and guides that (wrongly) say you have to have superboot install to 'root' your phone before installing anything else.... Im not sure how we would fix that tho.

I've made a How To in a german Forum in which the Superboot Image is Optinal (as it is only needed for the MCR r4) Also i've included some files (from your stock Images) to "Rebrand" the Phones back to the Factory Setting (Removing Clockwork AND Superboot) Edited December 29, 2010 by kuemmeltuerk
