Streaming music question?

Ok, I got the Tune In Radio app and its awesome. I can stream my local stations, I know a bunch of them can do this. Question is, while Im sitting on the computer for say, and the phone is streaming the music, what happens when the screen goes blank? I know it turns wifi off when the screen is blank. Does that mean that its streaming the music over the 3G network? I just dont want to oncur a lot of crazy fees because of this. When you unlock the phone and the screen comes on, wifi pops back on. Anyone know? Thanks

You should be able to set the WiFi sleep policy to never. See the top of this thread.
