Well it finally turned up today almost 3 weeks after I ordered it but the blinking thing - he no work :(

I took the Vega out of the box this morning, hit the power button and..nothing. OK I thought, probably a dead battery so I plugged it in and let it charge for 8 hours, 8 loooong hours passed and I pick up the Vega, hit the power button again and blinking flip it still wont start, I get the blue light when it is plugged into mains but I get nuffin at all when its not plugged in, just a sorry looking blank screen.

Off the pc world for repair/replacement it goes now...s'not fair....

Have you held the power button for two seconds before releasing? The Vega's power button is sensitive to the time it is held in.

You may be waiting a while, they've got none in stock.

I'm still waiting with my finger poised over the 'buy' button

This, a quick press doesn't turn it on... You have to keep it pressed for 2 or 3 secs before releasing.

For general info, precisely two seconds turns mine on.

Youll be looking at a refund... I had to take mine back to pc world 2 days ago, and all the could offer is a refund, as they dont know when there is stock coming in. Mine was a faulty sounds like yours might of been also.

Bare in mind the VAT increase next week. You get a refund now and you will be short of the cash to buy one in the New Year, by around a fiver.

Took it back today and the 'tech guys' confirmed its dead,no more in stock obviously and dopey me couldn't have a refund today cos I didn't have the credit card that I purchased it with on me so I will need to go again for a refund.

Looks like a few people have had ones that don't work recently:-(

Ask to see if you can get a replacement order.
