Guest battletank Posted January 2, 2011 Report Posted January 2, 2011 Can anyone login into this without exception 47 ? The one in the market appears to be broken as I can login elsewhere. I have the same problem. I can't find any useful information on this issue.
Guest Posted January 13, 2011 Report Posted January 13, 2011 yep i had the same problem and spoke to amazon customer support - they'd never heard of the vega and suggested i wait for android 2.3 to appear......interestingly, the app is not available for the iOS, although apple probably wouldn't allow it anyway....
Guest Lennyuk Posted January 13, 2011 Report Posted January 13, 2011 I know you probably don't want to know this, but its a horrible app anyway, a massive drain on resources and battery life you are better off without it.
Guest MonkeyBoy451 Posted January 13, 2011 Report Posted January 13, 2011 I've used the app a ton on my HTC Desire and it works just fine - then tried it on the Vega and got the same results as the OP - cant login to buy anything! I guess its an issue with something in the OS on the Vega. Hopefully they get it sorted for the next release.
Guest SilentMobius Posted January 13, 2011 Report Posted January 13, 2011 The error in logcat is: I/HttpClientWrapper(10376): postMethod.setRequestEntity failed! D/LinkDeviceResponse(10376): Unable to parse responseBody My guess is that its trying to send the IMEI from the phone and the framework method used to get that value is failing due to the lack of a GPRS/3G radio.
