i have tried to restore a freshly saved backup with clockwork

now phone doesn't boot

have tried with clockwork 2.5.1.8 and 2.5.1.3

phone is stalled at powering up please wait a black screen and please wait again

any ideas ???

I've got these symptoms when I tried to flash multiple things at the same time on Finnish Fillyjonk.

Maybe you ran out of memory, clockworkmod doesn't warn you.

I don't exactly know what goes where, but I'd try flashing a brand new ROM, making a proper nandroid backup, and replacing the working backup's data.img with your data.img.

It might get your data back, but I'm not sure it will. If there isn't any important data, then just wipe and reflash it.

Try getting an adapter or using another phone to copy the rom. Sorry.

you can mount usb in clockworkmod (mounts/storage -> mount usb storage)

This feature saved me many times :(
