3G/2G Issue

Hi Guys/Gals,

1st post on here and what a great site and wealth of info.

Am having an issue using my T-Mobile PAYG sim in the San Francisco, have unlocked and updated to Japanese Jellyfish RLS2 which is working awesome, but cannot get 3G/2G to work. I've just purchased the 6month internet booster from T-Mobile and i've checked my APN settings multiple times and everything else works fine, wireless, etc...

When checking the status from the settings it reports the Mobile Network Type is Unknown and the Mobile Network State is Disconnected. I know it's not an issue with the phone, as the Orange PAYG sim connects via 3G fine and am just wondering if it could be my sim that's the problem as it must be over 8-9 years old and i've never used 3G on it previously.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. :(

UPDATE

Solved, it was the Sim, got replacement from T-Mobile shop and working fine now. ;)
