Guest PurpleRob Posted December 31, 2010 Report Posted December 31, 2010 I don't know what I'm doing wrong but here goes (this isn't really a problem but it is annoying the hell out of me). I recently bluetoothed some pictures to my vega, everything was OK until I tried to delete them. In the picture viewer the thumbnails show up, I highlight them and choose to delete, the viewer says they have been deleted but when I open the viewer again low and behold and as if by magic they are back! I've searched my system for the image names using astro but they are not there. Does anyone know where the images will be stored? I've looked in the usual places I.e. bluetooth folder etc but nothing. I'm running the customer R6 Ron Cheered for any assistance Rob
Guest simonta Posted December 31, 2010 Report Posted December 31, 2010 Which viewer? Try going to Settings->Applications->Manage Applications. Select the viewer and click "Clear Cache".
Guest PurpleRob Posted December 31, 2010 Report Posted December 31, 2010 Its the stock gallery viewer and I've already tried that. I'm just wondering if it made a difference because I cropped it to use it as my wallpaper.
Guest simonta Posted December 31, 2010 Report Posted December 31, 2010 Sorry, don't know. Have you checked /sdcard/vegamedia?
Guest PurpleRob Posted December 31, 2010 Report Posted December 31, 2010 Yep afraid so I've done everything that I could think of. The only explanation I can think of is that when I cropped it and set it as the wallpaper the system renamed it and saved it elsewhere but where and what the name is I have no idea. I've totally run out of ideas
Guest Sir Gash Posted December 31, 2010 Report Posted December 31, 2010 Have you tried this: Settings > SD card & Device storage > Unmount SD card Wait a bit then mount it again, it will do a scan of all media (pictures, music) on your SD card and may fix your problem.
