Guest Touch Graphite Posted December 31, 2010 Report Posted December 31, 2010 Quick one this, Anyone else's volume control only 'control' the volume on the lower half of the volume scale!? Tried it using headphones on YouTube and playing through speakers with an mp3 onboard. To me, there are 10 levels to the volume control, and the first 5 are set to 20%, 40%, 60%, 80% and 100% and the other five just 100%.

Even when connected up to hifi system/headphones - the vol rocker still the same (just wondered if the inbuilt speakers were the prob) Edited December 31, 2010 by debs626
Guest gdwhitehouse Posted December 31, 2010 Report Posted December 31, 2010 Mine was like that during the first day, I actually gave it a firm press, and it started working and has been fine since - felt like it was 'stuck' and maybe rubbing on something. Probaby make no difference for you, just thought I'd say in case. G

I never noticed it before, there must be a way to change the increments. Maybe logcat will show the problem?

It's definitely a soundcard issue, only having the facility to attenuate the sound in 5 steps. Something advent to address in the 3G model (if its not too late)
