Well this is just odd, I turned my phone off, went to boot into clockwork and just no life whatsoever, I plugged in a USB to see if it was the battery or handset and then it popped up saying 'ZTE Diagnostic Interface succesfully installed' so there's definately some life there....

Are you sure you didn't use the wrong key sequence? Would be interesting to know exactly what you did as the Diagnostic interface would be handy! Which drivers have you installed? What were the exact steps you used to attempt to get into recovery? In order to restart I suggest taking the battery out (disconnect from USB too)

Well what I did was I turned it off as normal, then I went to boot it up while holding vol down to get into clockwork, it didn't work at all so I went to see if it would turn on with some external power plugged in the USB cable and heard the ever familiar windows USB device noise which I thought was odd, then it just came up saying it had succesfully installed the diagnostic interface but nothing happened on either the phone or the PC so I unplugged the USB tried everything I know from being a tech related guy, took everything out tried it again, tried it with just the SIM, then the SD on it's own eventually just left the battery out for a little longer than I had previously and now it's back to life, odd though....
