sim signal bar after mcr r6

After flashing r6 i now have the signal bar on my notifications bar, like a phone. Why is it there, and how can i remove it?

You've probably hacked it in a villainrom styleee so it can now make phone calls Lenny. lol.

Are you sure you are not in airplane mode? Can you post a screenshot?

Also, are you getting a better signal strength than an iPhone 4? :(

check if you have Phone.apk and TelephonyProvider.apk in /system/app

if those files are missing android will display a set of empty signal bars with a little error-(x) to show there's something wrong with the phone system.

They were missing....strange. all fixed now
