Guest simonta Posted January 2, 2011 Report Posted January 2, 2011 Darren. With respect, you have not read the instructions carefully. The Nvidia Tegra driver is only used when flashing the Advent updates. The ADB driver used when applying the ROM update. Please go through the instructions slowly, step by step and have another go. The instructions are correct and do work. If you find the ADB driver loaded but still have problems installing the update, the issues with USB drivers have been dealt with several times in various threads. Come back to here again if you still have trouble. Cheers

Guest thwacker Posted January 3, 2011 Report Posted January 3, 2011 (edited) I has a similar problem, but using WinXP not Vista. In Device Manager I noticed that when I plugged/unplugged the USB lead to the Vega that under USB Controllers a listing would appear/disappear for USB Mass Storage Device. So with the USB lead connected I deleted this USB Mass Storage Device, then had Device Manager scan for new hardware. This allowed me to install the USB drivers contained within Paul's Custom ROM download. Once installed I could see Android Phone listed in the Device Manager and was then able to continue installing the ROM. Edited January 3, 2011 by thwacker
