OSF wifi problem - cant connect?

My gf's OSF (running sebastians de-oranged eclair rom) has developed a WiFi problem. It won't connect to a network that it's previously been connected to just fine. The password is entered ok, I've tried forgetting it and connecting afresh, and restarting the phone, but it's plain refusing to connect. My wildfire connects to the network no problems.

Any ideas? Previously it had been fine.

rebooting the router should provide a less than ideal temporary solution.
