Divx great on FLB-Froyo G2 for ZTE Blade (Beta)

I tried running divx on this rom with rockplayer and it work great.

I have tried two : a show of 173MO and a Xvid movie of 716 mo and both are very smooth.

I am happy but supprised because in my head the Orange SF ( not divx playing native) was no powerfull enought (600 Mhz) to run divx/xvid.

Is this because of hardware acceleration? Does anyone have an explanation?

i have played a divx of 1.4 gigs very smoohtly

it's because of android 2.2 (a big speed improvement for games and movies)

Ok cool, 2.2 rocks. I'm really happy, I'm gonna run to the store on monday and buy the biggest micro sd card.

So to all the people looking for running divxs on there SF just flash to 2.2 :unsure:

So yesterday i installed FLB-Froyo R6 & tried Rockplayer again, but this time i cant get it too play any movies apart from *.Mov file.

AVI, WMV & MP4 dont play.

which version ? last version 1.6.1 doesn't work on blade

i use this version and works fine

RockPlayer_ARMv6vfp_1_5.5.5.zip

rename .zip in .apk
