Hello everyone new here and after spending days reading and trying ether i am looking in the wrong places or just not doing things correctly.

I have bought an Orange San Francisco for my partner, Unlocked it using the free app i found but i still can not use the net (wifi ok) because of orange stuff in it.

I tried using this:

clockworkmod, but it will not work, the rom mamager has installed but when i try to do anything else i just get error mailnly this "2An error occurred while attempting to run privileged commands" this was while trying to install Flash clockworkmod recovery.

All i trying to do is get rid of the orange crap so she can use the free internet she gets using the Tesco deal.

And make the phone look better layout wise with a better rom.

Any help would be most gratefull and please step by step as new to this.

Thanks in advance

just follow this topic

here

Don't make things complicated - no need to flash a new rom, especially if they are new to Android.

All you have to do is install the tesco apn's

at the moment your phone is trying to use the orange network for data with a tesco sim which wont work.

read this thread for the settings

Well doing well but got a little stuck, i was trying to put on the BladeVillain1.1.0-release

I copied all the contents of the folder onto the SD card and now booted into clockwork recovery but can seem to find the file to boot from

first make a backup of the phone (menu backup in clock)

just copy the big .zip file in the root of the sd card

in clockwork choose the menu install zip from sdcard

sub-menu choose zip from sc card

select the zip file

confirm

that's all
