Today all of a sudden, my Streak no longer gets a signal anymore... I thought maybe my SIM card broken so I tried it in a different phone and it worked fine... when I boot up the Streak it also prompts me for the SIM card unlock code, which makes me think that it can read the SIM card just fine. however, it just refuses to get a signal...

I've tried resetting to factory default and reinstalling 318, none of which helped. Does anyone know if there's a low-level way of finding out if the GSM module is working?

thanks in advance, I hope someone can help as the nearest repair center is over a thousand miles away...

I've played it a bit more... and have realized that the phone can search and find the networks but just refuses to connect to ANY of them, including my own network...

It just says "can not connect to the network at the momement, please try again later"...

odd...

I don't think it's the baseband since it was working fine for like a month, in any case, doesn't reflashing 318 reflashes the baseband?

Could you provide ADB log?

Use

adb logcat -b radio > log.txt

I've sent it via expresspost to the nearest service center... let's see what they say... I've tried everything and just gave up on it at the end.

thanks everyone!
