Hi Guys,

My son is complaining that the keyboard briefly appears then disappears when he touches the text box in facebook.

I have had a look and he's right, when you touch the text box, the keypad appears then disappears.

Any ideas gang ?

Is that in the Facebook app or the Facebook web page?

If it is the web page, is it portrait or landscape?

he uses the home screen icon, the facebook pages are in landscape.

when he attempts to chat to his contacts and taps the box to chat the keyboard comes up then disappears

I get this problem too, no matter what browser I use. The official FB app (free from the market) is fine tho. If when he wants to update his status via the web browser, going to his own wall and clicking status works.
