Just to say hi to all

After reading here about the SF , and i am looking to get a new phone , the SF looks a good bet ,

I have reserved at argos , ( not sure to get a white or grey one ? ) which colour work faster B)

Anyway im with o2 , so looking to un-lock it , which sounds easy and free thanks to this site !!!!

I will also be looking to go to 2.2 rom , but need too read up on how to do it, I work in IT , and look after servers running Linux , so imhoping it shouldnt be too hard

Happy new year to all !!

Cheers

Paul

If It's Easy Enough For A 14 Year Old Boy, I Expect You'll Be Able To Do It

It's easy. White or grey work the same except grey could have OLED or TFT screen. The white is always TFT. OLED screen is better. The white has a hard shell wheras the grey is slightly rubbery and the coating is coming off mine already!

How Long You Had Yours For? Only One Tiny Thing With Mine, Down Volume Key Is Very Squeaky Compared To The Up Button, But It's Not A Massive Problem Really

Correct Me If I'm Wrong But Isn't It Only On TFT's And On Specific Rom's?

Only an issue with custom 2.2 roms. We should get a newer dump soon from official chinese release blade which means a newer kernel and hopefully a fix. I only get maybe 1 freeze a week.

White has a nice glossy finish, just keep it clean lol.

thx guys for the replies,

so i could for now ( until the chinese official release) unlock it , and debrand it , without changing the rom easy enough , and for free ? , and should not get the freezes ?

Well You get what you pay for, Yes I've had a problem of the back cover not fitting properly but a bit of bending fix'd that, But Everything Else is very sleek and I Think it's better than My Nokia 5230.

Yeah I've only had a play on a mates android phone but it looked very complex until you get one for yourself and use it and then you get used to it like anything new Really.

1. Backup - Clockwork recovery ---> Backup And Restore -----> backups u rom boot and all that or Titanium backup (android app) on the maket.

2. Bluetooth Them Across Then They should be .vcf's on The Sd Card Then On contacts click MENU then import / export then import from SD card Then import all

Have You Accepted On the Blade? (Pull Down Notification Bar)

If Not Have You Got A Bluetooth Dongle For Pc You Could Use?
