How exactly is the blue tint problem?

Sorry for posting the issue for the million'th time, but I just bought my San Francisco off the Internet and my first impression was good (under sunlight), then I realized there's a very slightly blue tint comparing to my HTC Diamond and Samsung Ominia II (which has an AMOLED)

So could anyone please describe, or even better, post a photo of the blue tint issue?

Images taken by camera appears fine, but whenever it comes to light grey or white, I can tell it's more like pale skyblue.

Is it just the polarizer or my S.F. is "infected"?

here is a rgb colorwheel: http://img405.imageshack.us/img405/3200/colorwheelrgb.jpg

open it with your SF and look if you have this banding of wrong colors on it.

on my lcd sf, the hungarian update solved the lcd gradient glitches. hungarian users reported that it solves that issue too, worked on my lcd sf.

Do you mind pointing me to the right thread/link?

Thanks very much!

Thanks Buddy. I now own 2 SF, both from Orange UK.

One has banding issue (not smooth gradient plus an awkward fine line just outside the blue region ) while another has no problem in this regard.

However, both suffer from the blue tint issue if you ask me... comparing to all the LCD monitors for my PC, camera, mobile phone and so forth.

So I can't conclude if it is a genuine defect or I am being too picky on this 99GBP Chinese gadget.

Thanks for your reply anyway.
