Guest mobile579 Posted January 3, 2011 Report Posted January 3, 2011 I have just upgraded to Froyo 2.2 using JellyFish but I can't get the generic guess your location working - i.e. a few miles accuracy. Should any location be available with just AGPS enabled (GPS disabled and Use Wireless Networks disabled in the Location and Security settings)? I can't remember in Eclair 2.1 deoranged whether I had the Use Wireless Network enabled but when I try to enable in JellyFish you have to agree to Location consent (Anonymous data being sent to Google) or it will not turn on. I do not remember choosing this in Eclair? Does anyone know if this is correct - I basically need to enable the Use Wireless Networking agreeing to the Location Consent has always been a requirement even in 2.1? TIA
Guest nonamer123 Posted January 3, 2011 Report Posted January 3, 2011 AGPS cannot be used without GPS? When i deactivate GPS, the option for enable/disable AGPS isn“t touchable any more
