Using Seb's 2.2 and it lasts so much better than the 2.1 Stock ROM so well worth a try

Its a very clean ROM too. Download link in Signature.

+1 very good, stable and tidy ROM, battery is good as well, a little better as 2.1.

B)

Download from here instead:

http://uploading.com/files/a3mb88d9/r0.3_u...ade_signed.zip/

That will fix the problem, the original download is corrupt

Also try the latest Clockwork from here:

I'm thinking of changing to this ROM also. I'm on the 2.1 Bladevillan. A quick question on this one if you please.

What measures do I have to take to ensure that any apps I have are kept? If I clear the cache & data in clockwork, will this affect my apps or can I go ahead and change from 2.1 to Seb's 2.2?

Clearing the data will remove all the apps etc. You can backup these using Titanium Backup.

If you have paid for the apps you can re-download them for free from the market, it will remember that you have already purchased them.

Everything else you will loose but you can just re-install them

I updated the clockwork and it now works , thanks for the download links.

Do you know what themes work on this ROM out of curiosity?

There is a thread with themes that work on the Japanese Jellyfish and on Seb's 2.2, all of them should work.

Yeah (what keloid said), due to the library's Firewall I've got the G2 r6 2.2 FroYo Rom off of here somewhere waiting to go on my San Fran but I'm still tempted by the de orangeated r8 version of 2.1. I hope you can decipher the names I've given, respectively authored by fibblesan and seb, if I remember correctly.

fibblesan's G2 was listed on here as being based on Chinese R4 source code for the kernel. I thought the Chinese only just last week released their 2.2 source code and it has since been dubbed r7 in one of the latest ROMS. So how could source code have existed r4?

? ;) ?
