Out having a few beers over new years I drunkenly dropped my phone and lost the back cover  . Does anyone know where would be a good place to purchase one from? Can't find anything on eBay. Would love to have one without the Orange branding if at all possible (San Fran Back) but anything would do at this point.

Thanks for any info in advance!

Good luck with that lol, I was looking at getting another but had no luck finding.

I have just come to the conclusion that I will have to wait for people to start breaking the San Francisco and putting them on Ebay

some people imported spare parts directly from china. but i guess for cool factor, you can just stick a plaster over the back from top to bottom

if you've not got any warranty goodness to rely on, then carefully applied superglue may stop the growing. You may want to apply the superglue with the tip of a needle to the part of the crack that is growing. If you also use a needle in the old part of the crack it may open the crack enough to help you apply the superglue into the new part of the crack. Then work backwards applying a little superglue along (as best inside the crack edges as you can) up to the needle that holds it open. Then remove the needle.

Exhaling onto the glued area provides moisture that may help cure the glue, but don't breath in the fumes from the glue!

That might be an option. Out of interest, how many people here would be after a back cover if I was to put an order in?

interested but, as I live in Italy, I'll have to order it on my own.

Do you know the website which sells such spare parts? thank you

I would buy at least one and possibly six as spares for family/friends. The internal part of the power button attached to the back cover has become a little worn and sometimes has difficulty making contact with the internal switch that is fully functioning.

you could maybe just buy a soft gel case to use for the mo? as a back cover?

If someone can get a regular supply of back covers, batteries etc

there's a huge earning potential there for somebody.

I would especially if you could get one with a better lens cover (or even no lens cover)

earning potential which is offset nicely by risk.

ebay increases supply of spares directly in proportion to the "hugeness" of the earning potential thereby decreasing the earning potential.

The risk can correspondingly be reduced by taking advance orders (which I observe is happening in some fashion).

This is demonstrated nicely to me with screen-protectors, where I see single protectors for blade selling at around £8 (or did before Christmas) and packs of six selling for about £2.50

Someone's huge earning potential was dashed there!

2 for me, and a few batteries also.

I'd take a back cover.

To be honest you'd have no problem selling them if you bought say 400.

I saw some in China during Christmas break, but instead of 'Orange' logo, it has 'ChinaMobile'. But guess no one cares about the logo. How much you would vote for it ? I would personally accept 5-10 quid.

Hi, I would also be very interested in a couple of back covers.

Cheers

My back covers starting to become a bit of a loose fit due to the battery removal from Rom flashing. Don't know how long it's going to hold out. Could be market for these shortly!!!

the button from the old one is part of the case though and moves on a sort of pivot attached to the top... it would no longer work if it snapped off...
