cifs.ko for 2.2?

Has anyone managed to find a working cifs.ko for the current kernel (using android 2.2 alpha5 by paul) or compile its own?

would be very welcome here to mount cifs-shares. Thnx.

Only found a module for the 2.1er-android which does not load on my android 2.2

I think we won't get it until we get the kernel source - although there is good reason to think that a cifs.ko built for the closest source we have (same kernel version) with the same configuration, would work if it were force-loaded into the kernel - as long as structs and functions used by cifs.ko aren't modified. Someone with a kernel build setup and access to the config could try it
