My first post!!!

Just a heads up I bought the SF today from orange, and I immediately started looking for a screen protector for it. I managed to find this on amazon

I found this:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?u...amp;x=0&y=0

There are 2 types of screen protector there, and I really can't beleive nobody found this before, but maybe their not very good, who knows, I certainly don't.

I am thinkng of buying this, but I also wan't a cover, and I really don't want to end up in a situation where I have to buy a protector with the cover as well, mind you, from what I've read on these boards, there aren't any covers specifically designed for this phone, but who knows, I'll definitely keep looking!

That actually looks like quite a good deal, in terms of protection how good are they?

I think they are quite good. They even come with a protection for the protector that you need to peel off after application

The point being is that the one's posted by PeTiNgA supposedly* have a curved bottom edge unlike the Omnia i900 protectors.

* - I was assured by someone on XDA that this was the case, unfortunately my order still hasn't arrived yet from that vendor, hoping it's just an xmas/new year delay.

Dudes, use the search, there is already a thread with screen protectors... talking about forum fragmentation. Could a mod please merge the two threads?

Can anyone on here confirm if these have a curved bottom?

They have a curved bottom, are a little wider and longer. They perfectly fit the SF unlike the ones for i900.

I bought those

http://www.amazon.co.uk/PHONE-PROTECTION-P...7303&sr=8-3

Very decent quality, I would say. Double peel, good thickness without compromising in touch screen sensitivity. No air bubbles or anything...and I am a fine motor skills illiterate

It seems quite good, although I am currently deliberating whether to go for the Amazon ones, or the eBay ones, it actually looks they are the exact same product, so I'll probs go for the eBay ones, Just over £2 for 6 isn't a bad deal.

I'm also getting Froyo installed on it, so that Angry Birds works with less lag, and so I can use iPlayer.

How will installing Froyo let you use iPlayer?

Their is an app called Myplayer works well a pity you can't download content though.

my point was that the screen is a rectangle so why spend more money on curved screen protectors? the i900 ones i linked above are good.

Well, I know have froyo, and also have established that you can't get flash on a ZTE blade, so you can't properly get iplayer, at least the phone isn'y as laggy now though.

Also, I have ordered that set of 6 screen protectors for it, hopefully it'll arrive within the next few days
