Going to Austria from Canada: Rogers Plan or local SIM

I am going to Austria via Zurich from Montreal in a couple of weeks, for a couple weeks; and was wondering about phone plan plans...? ideas?

I will call Rogers to inquire about their travel plans, but I was wondering about any local plans that might be cheaper. Would it be wise to get a local SIM card?

Here in Austria it's very easy to get a prepaid SIM-Card. Even in some supermarkets you will get SIM-Cards at the checkout and the rates a pretty cheap so I would go with a local card. Just tell me how much talk time (local/international) and GByte you want and I will tell you what card is best for you...
