Guest nanodrone Posted January 4, 2011 Report Posted January 4, 2011 hello i'm a beginner in the android world but i'm quite good at programming so i decided to try to create one custom rom... but for that i need all porting information about the acer liquid device that i can't find anywhere... so i was thinking to ask the community if there is and how can i reach that information that can be stored in a file to add to the source or to the replace with an abstract generic template in the code... i know i'm very confused but if you understand please help me
Guest Rajit Posted January 4, 2011 Report Posted January 4, 2011 There was a similar thread some time back: http://android.modaco.com/content/acer-liq...-to-the-liquid/ Don't know if that has the answers you need to know, but while reading it please ignore the flames and random word-wars, our community is better than that. All the best!

All the best! Yes it is probably best to start at page 2. Edit: this thread discuss porting roms that is compiled for other devices. There are other threads discussing how to compile android from source for liquid. I made one, that is a bit outdated now but it might be of interest still. http://android.modaco.com/content/acer-liq...d/#entry1358820 Edited January 4, 2011 by koudelka

Xian's CM device tree: https://github.com/xian1243 CyanogenMod Android tree: https://github.com/CyanogenMod Thanks. B)
