Guest nobug Posted January 4, 2011 Report Posted January 4, 2011 (edited) Is there a solution to undervolt current Blade froyo ROMs? I just remember it from my time with a Samsung Galaxy Spica. Undervolting is a quite usual way of power saving with this android phone. (http://forum.samdroid.net/f55/samdroid-turbo-1301/) As there is a AHB overclocking option for the Japanese Jellyfish, there might be a way to undervolt. (?) Edited January 4, 2011 by nobug
Guest Frankish Posted January 4, 2011 Report Posted January 4, 2011 No because for kernel overclock or undervolt we need 2.2 blade kernel source.
Guest zurpher Posted January 4, 2011 Report Posted January 4, 2011 No because for kernel overclock or undervolt we need 2.2 blade kernel source. How does the AHB overclocking option for the Japanese Jellyfish work?
Guest nobug Posted January 4, 2011 Report Posted January 4, 2011 How does the AHB overclocking option for the Japanese Jellyfish work? 1) YEAH... That is one thing I had in mind. CPU overclocking doesn't work, cause of no kernel sources. OK The question is, if there are other methodes for undervolting, similar to the AHB overclocking. 2) Has anyone tried to urge ZTE or Orange to publish the GPLed sources?

The powerlevels are set in the same frequency table that I changed to overclock the AHB. 2) Has anyone tried to urge ZTE or Orange to publish the GPLed sources? Yes and the last we heard was that they promised to get them out this week.
