Hello. I'm trying to install ClockworkMod with fastboot but it is stuck on sending recovery. Or atleast is has been there for 20 minutes. What should I do?

Is this how you are doing it?

- Download the ClockWork Recovery Mod – Download.

- Turn off your phone and take out the battery and Unplug the phone from the PC / charger.

- Replace the battery and turn the phone back on with ‘volume up’ held. The device will stay at the ‘green android’ screen.

- Plug the phone into the PC.

- Extract the fastboot folder once downloaded.

- From a command prompt (at the directory containing these new files!) run ‘fastboot-windows flash recovery recovery-clockwork-2.5.1.8-blade.img‘ (subsituting ‘fastboot-mac’ or ‘sudo fastboot-linux’ if not running Windows).

- When this finishes, from the command prompt run ‘fastboot-windows reboot‘ (again substituting ‘fastboot-mac’ or ‘sudo fastboot-linux’ if not running Windows).

- ClockWork Recovery Mod should now be installed.

Yes.

EDIT: Tested on another computer and it worked. Still have no idea why it worked on this computer but not the other.

Create a directory let's say on C:\ called ZTE. Then extract/download files to C:\ZTE. Use this directory as your working directory.

mind you I'll receive my SanFran tomorrow and hopefully flash over the weekend.

Clockwork will let you do a FULL Nandroid backup of your device - however once you have put a custom ROM on (using clockwork again) you can't just pull bits of the data back - you get the whole ROM and everything back.

What you need to do is ROOT your device and install | Titanium Backup from the Market

See Rooting here

http://android.modaco.com/content/zte-blad...and-other-roms/

And Titanium Backup here

http://android.modaco.com/content/zte-blad...-for-new-users/

Then use clockwork to put your NEW ROM on

Then install clockwork and pull back the bits you want to restore.
