Guest xDinichx Posted January 4, 2011 Report Posted January 4, 2011 (edited) Hello!! I'm new here and I'm new with android phones. I got this phone from my friend and he said that battery ran out and he can't boot it anymore... It doesen't have warranty... When I turn it on it shows t-mobile logo and goes off... When I put it on power it flashes (keys) and t-mobile logo once more When I connect it to my PC it flashes again and again t-mobile logo... Please help... EDIT: I realized he has been using charger that gives 5V output and that is wayyy to much for his battery. I have one charger that gives 4.2V but I don't know if that would fix anything... And now I took the battery out and connected it with PC and it turned on... now it t-mobile logo again and nothing else  Edited January 4, 2011 by xDinichx
Guest Slah Posted January 5, 2011 Report Posted January 5, 2011 Hello, first of all: 5V is not to much for the battery. The USB default voltage is 5V, so everything is fine. Please download the firmware, try the steps below and report your result: http://support.t-mobile.co.uk/library/TMOB...20Android21.zip * 1 Copy the "dload" folder to SDcard. * 2 Turn off your phone. * 3 Turn off the device and press the red (end) + the volume up to + hold down the power button, and wait for the "Preparing to update ..." message. * 4 At the end of the upgrading, device restarts. * 5 After phone booted, copy the "dload" folder from CUSTOMIZED_HU to SDcard, and overwrite the existing one. Turn off the device and press the red (end) + the volume up to + hold down the power button, and wait for the "Preparing to update ..." message. * 6 At the end of the upgrading, device restarts. What to do if the process does not restart at the end of the updat? * 1 Remove and reinsert the battery, and continue the software update as described in section * 5.
