Guest x3noc Posted January 5, 2011 Report Posted January 5, 2011 Hi, If any of you have used the case on the iPad that folds back and makes the device sit up at about 30'. You'll know that this is ideal if you are typing with it on a desk or on your knee. I know the 'official' Vega case stands up but to be honest thats useless to me. Any ideas where i can get one? If not would you all be interested and i'll work on getting one made and imported. Thanks J
Guest Schooleydoo Posted January 5, 2011 Report Posted January 5, 2011 You mean this? Lots of info here. If it really is urgent though, you might want to order elsewhere. I ordered before Christmas and its still not arrived.
Guest x3noc Posted January 5, 2011 Report Posted January 5, 2011 Not really - its still a stand... I meant this: http://www.johnlewis.com/Shopping/PhotoGal...5068&Zoom=1 If you look at the cover you can see it has a fold a third of the way in. When you open it and fold it back it forms a small stand that elevate the device to a nice angle for typing. Cheers anyway, J

Cheers anyway, J Using the vega case i fold backwards the flap and using the short strap button it as it would be if it were closed, only inside out if you get me, it then elevates it, probably more so than that case, i will take a pic tonight if your crazy about it? Guest jezwick Posted January 12, 2011 Report Posted January 12, 2011 Couldn't agree more! not sure what the dimensions for the XOOM are but this kinda case ticks all the boxes for me http://www.motorola.com/consumers/US-EN/Po...00081bbb00aRCRD

Guest 2old2mould Posted January 12, 2011 Report Posted January 12, 2011 (edited) What's wrong with the official one? http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/advent-vega-...764476-pdt.html I have one and it's awesome although it does block the speakers a little. I've used it on the train a few times (on the large tables) to watch movies and it's been great. 2o2m. Edited January 12, 2011 by 2old2mould

It also looks quite conspicuous e.g. when you're in a meeting and you've got that thing standing up :D

I ordered before Christmas and its still not arrived. Shopping with "7dayshop" can often be a nightmare! You should contact them & let them know your order has not been received. I think that their T's & C's say you must let them know within 14 days of placing the order! I have only used these once - order got lost - total nightmare getting a refund!
