Hi Folks

Been checking on this forum almost daily now and noticed more and more ROM's available, getting me a bit confused (hence the post)

Im running 2.1 MoDaCo Custom Rom r4, im kinda waiting on a stable version of 2.2, but there are so MANY posts lol, can someone tell me straight, whats best (at the moment), should i wait a bit longer?

Can you caterogise the ROM's and maybe even a poll on users favourites, these kind of things would make n00bs like me identify the particular Rom's better

Hey, just my tuppence worth and dont want to upset the applecart

Doing a great job anyways, thanks

I use Seb's 2.2 on my device, it is very stable and smoother than 2.1

I'm using JapJelly rls4, very smooth, very stable, and a good everyday ROM. Also, the only rom i've used so far where the wifi will reliably reconnect everytime, all other roms have been unreliable in this respect.

Hopefully a fully stable 2.2 will be available within a week from now.

OPTIMISM HIGH.

have been using the standard Orange Rom with the junk removed for a week, its stable. What are the other reasons to move to a stable 2.2 ?

thanks .. Mike

I couldn't agree more, I highly recommend this ROM, I really do think it's the fastest and the most stable. As I have already said I have it running on three devices since day 1, no problems so far. Changing from 2.1 to Sebastian404's clean Froyo will be very noticeable and will give the phone extra value.

@Lee, I don't want to be rude, there are a few threads already asking for the best ROM (including one opened a few hours before yours), use the search mate!
