Guest Shane Posted February 10, 2003 Report Posted February 10, 2003 Thank you very much I'm sorry I didn't find it with my 1st search. However it still doesn't answer Data Tarriff (£/MB): 0.00 (Not sure about this one) Start Tarrif (£/MB): 0.00 (Again not sure what to set here) Start Length (MB/Month):0.00 (??) Shane
Guest Bazz Posted February 10, 2003 Report Posted February 10, 2003 Yeah not sure what the Start Tarif's are all about. Look it up in the manual. The Data Tarif is how much you get charged per Mb after your exclusive Mbs are up. The "unlimited" tarif has a 10Mb cap, Orange haven't fully made it clear so I've no idea what the charge is after this cap is reached. In theory you have to be given a warnign before they start charging so the charge should be £0 for the mo.
Guest Shane Posted February 10, 2003 Report Posted February 10, 2003 Thank you for your help Shane :)
Guest abamara Posted February 10, 2003 Report Posted February 10, 2003 As an aside to this topic can anyone tell me why my gprs counter is suddenly unacceptable to the spv? It refuses to open it. I might need to unlock it after all. Not looking forward to that hassle. Has anyone made the process hassle-free yet? It does look very complex to a non-techie newbie newbie!
Guest Pidder Posted February 10, 2003 Report Posted February 10, 2003 Unlocking is needet to get it to work (as with nearly all cool apps). If you follow the instructions you'll manage to do it - even as a newbie-newbie-newbie.
Guest abamara Posted February 11, 2003 Report Posted February 11, 2003 Time to summon up the courage and give it a go, then! Maybe this weekend?
Guest Bazz Posted February 11, 2003 Report Posted February 11, 2003 You shouldn't need to unlock it! This is a signed app. That said, unlocking is worth the effort!
Guest MisterCurly Posted February 11, 2003 Report Posted February 11, 2003 Are you trying to install it on the SD card? GPRS traffic counter only works when inslalled directly on to the phone.
Guest AndyTatt Posted February 11, 2003 Report Posted February 11, 2003 I installed this to the SD card, and then realised it had to be on th phone. I tried to install, but it failed. I now have a phone that thinks it has the GPRS Counter installed, but gives me an error message when I try to install. But I can not re-install it, as the phone says also gives me an error messgae. Catch 22! The supplier support function blames this on the MS installer function. Anyone have any ideas?
