If found that app today and so I can see my missed calls, emails and so on right on my display. It works great with my Amoled Display.

Warning about NoLED that it may cause battery drain.

and has non-obvious ways of quitting noled - not always the same key brings it out of sleep, depending on sleep mode - can give impression that phone has crashed

I liked it, didnt notice much impact on battery until it got below 15% - then the popup would come on saying i should charge it and the screen wouldnt turn off until it had been "ok'd"

Tasker uses about half the battery that Noled does to keep the leds lit when you miss a call/text. Mostly because it doesn't have to have the screen on. Noled would be much more suitable for the SF if it had an option to switch the screen off.

Are there any other options?

NoLED for OLED phone if you try it on TFT phone it will keep your screen backlight on all the time. Its couses battery drain, because noLED actually using colour technology on OLED screens.

Someone mentioned an app called Flash Notify for tft phones in another thread. It apparently flashes the backlight on and off when you have a missed notification.

I tried it ages ago and couldn't make it work. But come to think of it, I guess I don't have a backlight!

Obviously none of these use any power when you don't have any missed calls. But I personally still heavily favour tasker for not having to power your screen when you do have missed calls. :P
