Guest sads45 Posted January 5, 2011 Report Posted January 5, 2011 I am a complete novice with the SF and with Linux so please bear with me. I received my SF today and installed Ubuntu Linux 10.10 on my PC so that I could install ClockworkModRecovery on the SF. I created a Folder named "fastboot" within my home folder and copied Fastboot and the image for ClockworkModRecovery into it. I then changed directory into this folder and opened a terminal and ran the command : "sudo fastboot-linux flash recovery recovery-clockwork-2.5.1.3-blade.img" but received the response "command not found". If I perform "ls" it does show "fastboot-linux" in green. I then discovered that if I used the full pathname : "sudo /home/ian/fastboot/fastboot-linux flash recovery recovery-clockwork-2.5.1.3-blade.img" it worked. I thought if I was in a Folder I should be able to execute programs that were also in that folder? Could someone explain to this Noob what I am doing wrong?
