You cant mount an iphone as a USB storage device, thats why I hate apple so much.

Use the dropbox app, shouldnt take too long.

Hi Craig

Welcome.

You will need to do a little reading on other threads on this forum regarding USB host/slave mode and USB working device list. I doubt you'll be able to transfer stuff directly via USB but there are many other ways. e.g. Sync to iTunes then sync to Android. Search the market or Google. for iTunes synchers.

Cheers

I,ve used email to transfer a few photos. Have two gmail accounts and send from one to the other. Not the most elegant solution but pretty quick. If only apple would allow the use of bluetooth for swapping photos! Tony

Well, to be fair, this particular problem is of Apple's making. Android is no easier or more difficult to use, but is a lot more functional and customisable than iOS. I've got a seriously tricked out HTC Desire which is faster, easier to use, more functional and absolutely personalised to be mine which whoops Mrs T's iphone. Hence the existence of places like this - BTW, you just took the red pill. Welcome to wonderland...

I use the Tansee iPhone Photo transfer app linked here to transfer pics from my iPhone to my Windows PC (don't think they have an Android app yet) and use Astro file manager +SMB module on Vega to pull the pictures in from a shared folder. Rather long-winded I know but it works.

why do that? you could just email yourself on one email account, I do it all the time to remember certain things.

Fair enough but as i already have two gmail accounts (use one specifically for registering on websites which tends to attract a lot of junk mail) it doesn't make a lot of difference  Tony
