Guest technomaniac Posted January 5, 2011 Report Posted January 5, 2011 Hi all, I may have this wrong but here goes. I purchased a San Fran from orange and could not get onto the network so I sent it back. I then realised that I could get the San Fran via Littlewoods.com and it arrived today. Put the sim in and it worked straight away, it also had £10 free air time. Now for the good bit, I checked the build No and it ended in B05. Is that OLED or have I got it wrong? I also have a question: I want to use the phone on vodaphone so if I put my sim in and boot the phone up will it ask for the unlock code automatically? If I unlock the phone will I be able to use both my vodaphone and orange sim, I read somwhere that if you unlock the orange network will stop working. Hope this is good news. Cheers Greame

Cheers Greame Had mine delivered today from Very.com (Same Shop Group) also was B05 OLED, now notice that the Shop Group are out of stock of the grey ones altogether, seems they must have had some old stocks lurking around. If you unlock you unlock, you will be able to use any sim within it.

You can then use any SIM (including the Orange one) - the unlock post takes you through all this. Edited January 5, 2011 by Len Ash

Guest Fou-lu Posted January 5, 2011 Report Posted January 5, 2011 Exactly - would you chance buying that? :-) Hell no, well, Not until they fixed it, because if the error was the spec`s/name, and not the image, could end up with this phone- http://www.solidblogger.com/lg-cookie-glide-gt350i-phone/ In the littlewoods photo, look`s like OSF white and lg cookie glide, had some phone "relations", and created a freaky offspring

What on earth are you waffling on about, same company only cheaper? It was £99 when available in Grey, it is still £99 with it currently being only available in White at all of the Shop Direct Home Shopping Group companies, Marshall Ward, Very, Additions, Littlewoods etc etc. I ordered from Very and managed to use a coupon code for £30 off a £60 spend coupon code and got it for £69 + £3.95 delivery, ordered 3 days ago when they still had the Grey in stock, at that price an absolute steal! As of now, the Grey whilst out of stock has been pulled from the Shop Direct websites, the white whilst showing is also currently out of stock, although they are expecting a delivery, my wife has just ordered one this evening with an estimated 14 days delivery.

Guest cicobuff Posted January 6, 2011 Report Posted January 6, 2011 Was the delivery "within 14 days" when you ordered? Or did it change after you ordered? When I ordered a grey one it was on their websites and showing as in stock, and was despatched and delivered in 2 days. Now the grey one has been removed from the websites and only the White showing as available (although they have the picture of the grey phone advertising) and that one actually currently states "delivery within 14 days" which was confirmed by email when my wife ordered it last night. Hope that information is clear enough to clarify  Very.co.uk White San Francisco
Guest Rotmann Posted January 6, 2011 Report Posted January 6, 2011 So it seems those were the last ones and the new stock will probably be LCD  Not that there is something wrong with having an LCD B) Did anyone see THIS???

Are you stupid.? As the OP got one from Littlewoods.com, they were selling it for £119, inc topup. They are the dearest part of the Shop direct group. Additions et al, sell it for £99 inc topup...That's my point, it's available from Additions, and the other parts for £99, whereas Littlewoods.com is £119... Oh look, £119....See: http://www.littlewoods.com/orange-orange-s...0237-sku9820398 Grey one ordered from Littlewoods.com : Orange San Francisco Mobile Phone PF51418* 52 WK 07/01/2011 £ 119.00 Grey one ordered from Additions Direct: Orange San Francisco Mobile Phone PF5141A* 07/01/2011 £ 99.00 Idiot.!
