If we can get this product for this price, its worth noting. This price also includes a screen protector and delivery too!!!!

Personally, who would have paid £173 for this product in the first place beats me.

They say they're Jersey based to get us to trust them as UK sellers, but the website is ropey at best, demanding 'paypal' payments and hiding behind internet contact forms as contact with no real phone number despite the 'Call Us' icons.

Google turns up no bad or good testimonies about these people.

Any comments!?

I wouldn't bother, as buying the product seems like it could cause more trouble than it's worth.

I have one, bought from the same place. They have an ebay shop as well. Like the case and the keyboard works great, tiny niggle with the placement of the holding clips at the sides though, the right one slightly covers over the usb slot so you have to raise up the Vega about half a centimetre when plugging anything usb in. Also the included screen protector is about 3mm not wide enough to cover the whole screen.

I have heard of them but never used them. Honestly if I am travelling outside my home with the vega I already have a bag and a case for the vega so it makes little difference to carry a small keyboard perhaps even one with a trackpad or mouse that will be far superior to anything that is built into a case at the moment. And a seperate keyboard has the advantage of being useful for using with other devices not just the vega.

Is it me or does that keyboard remind anyone else of the ZX81 a bit? I know it's got proper keys etc but that slightly longer back end and keyboard arrangement... no, OK then, I'll get my coat.

Still, I got a bit teary eyed when I saw it... ahhh the good old days of 16Kb (if you had the expansion pack) computing

Since you've already bought one from the compay, it seems like they're probably ok. But I'll try not to act like I did from now on, as you can't expect people to know abut every company before you buy from them.

As long as the website is secure, I think you should buy the keyboard case (if you'd still like to).

I'm not that confident it will keep the tablet in place while carrying it...

And notice not all 10" tablets are the same size...

And I'm sure the screenprotector won't fit!

It looks like you have a different case...

From the pics it looks like this one has no clips on the sides...

Poor choice of wording maybe on my part, apologies. At work now but will take some pics and stick them up for you to see what it's like exactly. Is the same one though I'm sure.

Agree with the poster above about it not being very secure as I was holding it upside down the other day in the carry case/keyboard and it dropped out! Luckily no damage as landed on carpet!!

I tend to carry it in my work laptop bag anyway, just handy with having the keyboard included and with a usb hub can set it up on a desk and it looks like a mini laptop/notebook then

I bought one of these via Amazon where it was sold through an intermediary and it turned up OK. The main drawback, as noted by others, is that a holding tab on the right hand side obscures the port flap, so the tablet has to be lifted up 2-3cm to connect the keyboard. You can either leave it to balance on the port flap or rest it on something underneath - I had a small USB hub that was just the right dimensions and also allowed additional stuff to the keyboard to be plugged in.

The quality isn't brilliant, but no worse than you would expect at the price. Even without fiddling with keymapping some of the additional keys do useful things (Windows key pops up the menu...) so it's perfectly usable.

When I open the link from the first post in this topic and look at the 6th photo there's no clips on the left or right side...

Are you sure you are talking about the exact same case here?

It is the same one, see attached pic. may explain better than my words

Basically the clip/holder bit is in the way of where the flap opens on the side of the Vega that houses the usb, etc. My mate who has one managed to move the clip/holder and then super glue it back into place an inch or 2 higher up out of the way. I get around it by using a usb hub, as does another poster above who has one.
