best video conversion tool and settings for pulse mini

first off ,

hi, im new to the forum, recently got a tmobile pulse mini,

been looking around the forum but cant find any details of what settings to use when it comes to converting video's for the pulse mini,

i am using "handbrake" in ipod legacy mode to convert my a few video's but unsure what resolution to set it at to get full screen landscape video,

handbrake dosent seem to let me make the resolution higher than 624 x 352 unless thats because my saource video is too low resolution,

help much appreciated!!
